Fusion Outsourcing Services (Fusion SA) has been named as South Africa’s best offshore BPO contact centre for the second consecutive year. The group received the accolade at the national BPO awards held in the Eastern Cape last weekend.

Fusion Outsourcing Services (Fusion SA) emerged triumphant at the Western Cape’s annual contact centre industry awards on the weekend after winning a handful of trophies including the best Offshore BPO Contact Centre in the province for the second year running.

Nearly a quarter of a million Rand has been donated to charities in Cape Town after Fusion SA, a local business process outsourcing group, established a corporate social investment (CSI) programme to provide both financial and practical support to organisations providing crucial services to the local community.

On Thursday this week, Fusion SA transcended the barriers to HIV/AIDS in South Africa when Group CEO, Peter Winslow and the Board of Directors from the UK visited the Fikelela Children’s Centre in the township of Khayelitsha to support the battle against HIV/AIDS.  During the Board’s visit the Group CEO also handed over a cheque to the value of R20 000 to the children’s home.

Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa on Wednesday night announced the award of a R28-million grant to Fusion Outsourcing Services (PTY) Ltd, a critical endorsement of the company’s capacity to lead South Africa’s push for a greater share of the global contact centre market.
